Noémie Laurendeau
Senior Project Manager – Media Relations
Noémie Laurendeau has over 10 years of experience in the media industry. She graduated from the Master’s in Public and International Affairs program at the Université de Montréal with a specialization in public policy in 2023. There, she completed an analytical internship report on the “growing influence of degrowth in Quebec’s media.”
Since joining COPTICOM in 2022, Noémie has been responsible for numerous media appearances addressing transportation, housing, climate, and quality of life issues. She also coordinates the G15+ collective. Prior to joining COPTICOM, Noémie Laurendeau worked for nearly six years as a journalist in the newsroom at Radio-Canada in Montreal. This experience not only allowed her to develop exceptional journalistic instincts but also remarkable writing skills.
Noémie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), during which she specialized in political science at the University of Liège in Belgium. Noémie stands out for her professionalism and ability to work well in teams. She advocates for fair policies that prioritize human dignity and address the climate crisis.
