Stéphane Stril holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from McGill University, as well as a master’s degree in management (strategy) from HEC Montréal. He began his career in a ministerial cabinet before becoming president of the youth wing of a provincial political party. During his tenure, he distinguished himself by making the environment a priority.
Building on this political experience, he then worked for over two years as a government relations consultant with one of Quebec’s leading public affairs agencies. This role enabled him to familiarize himself with the business world and deepen his understanding of the inner workings of the Quebec and Canadian parliamentary systems.
In July 2023, Stéphane joined the COPTICOM team to put his skills and expertise to work in the fight against climate change. Since then, he has specialized in mandates related to mobility, urban planning and housing.
Brought together by a shared commitment to environmental protection and the fight against the climate crisis and social inequalities, COPTICOM’s team of strategists and communications specialists accompany our clients in their projects to help deepen their impact on our society and our environment.
