Noémie Laurendeau

Communications project manager

Noemie has a wealth of experience in communications as well as a passion for politics. For five and a half years she worked as a journalist in Radio-Canada’s busy newsroom in Montreal. This experience allowed her to develop extraordinary journalistic reflexes and impeccable editorial capacity. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from UQAM in addition to earning a specialization in political science at the University of Liège, Belgium

As a team member at COPTICOM, Noémie seeks to use her knowledge of the media to fight climate change and social inequalities. She is currently completing a master’s degree in Public and International Affairs at the Université de Montréal, where she specializes in public policy. She campaigns for fairer policies that make a difference in the lives of people and the environment.
