Gabriel Marquis

Gabriel Marquis has over a decade of experience in strategic communications for several environmental and social causes.

Over the course of his career, he has worked as a digital communications officer for major pan-Canadian climate campaigns, coordinator of the Front commun pour la transition énergétique—a multisectoral coalition of approximately 80 member organizations—and as a freelancer on various projects in strategic writing, media outreach, and event planning.

From 2016 to 2025, he served as Director of Communications at Nature Québec. In this role, he led several campaigns focused on energy and nature conservation, while helping raise the organization’s public profile.

Known for his versatility and his understanding of the dynamics of societal change, he holds a degree in public affairs and international relations and is skilled at bridging government relations, grassroots mobilization, and strategic communications.

Today, he is particularly interested in social marketing, multi-platform content, and advocacy strategies that help ideas reach wider audiences in a rapidly evolving media ecosystem.

In his spare time, Gabriel enjoys making music. He is the proud father of two daughters.
