Christophe Aura
President
For a decade, Christophe Aura has worked in communications and public relations, participating in major initiatives with both industry and civil society, with implications in Quebec and internationally.
After working in politics and with the Government of Canada, he joined COPTICOM from 2017 to 2022, where he contributed to key projects including the UNESCO World Heritage designation of the Anticosti Island, the citizen mobilization to protect drinking water in Ristigouche-Sud-Est, and the launch of the Statement by the Québec Financial Center for Sustainable Finance.
He then continued his career at ArcelorMittal, where he was involved in major decarbonization projects at the company’s North Shore facilities, as well as in various community initiatives in the cities where the company operates.
Deeply engaged in his community, Christophe has served for nearly four years on the board of the Société de développement commercial Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. He also co-managed the Public Affairs Committee of the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montreal (JCCM) between 2023 and 2025, during which time he contributed to a policy paper on the perceptions and demands of young professionals regarding equity, diversity, and inclusion.
In 2024, Christophe became the first recipient of the JCCM’s “Impact Generation” award at the ARISTA Gala, after being a finalist in the “Young Quebec Leader – Social Responsibility” category in 2023.
He is also the happy father of a young child.
