Communication Agent

Cathy is a fourth-year BCL/JD student at McGill University, pursuing a dual degree in civil law and common law, with a minor in Environment. She has a strong interest in governance, social justice, and the environmental transition. Throughout her academic and professional journey, Cathy has gained hands-on experience in the offices of Canada’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Minister of Foreign Affairs. In these roles, she contributed to the analysis of complex policy issues, the preparation of strategic briefing materials, and coordination with a wide range of stakeholders. She also served as Community Relations Coordinator at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, where she supported partner engagement and contributed to marketing initiatives. 

Most recently, Cathy contributed to the organization of the first Montréal Climate Week where she supported the development of strategic partnerships, engagement across different sectors, and the delivery of accessible and engaging climate programming. Her commitment to public service has also led her to serve on the board of directors of Lab22, a non-profit organization that helps Quebec schools advance their socio-ecological transition, and to contribute to the launch of another non-profit organization. Internationally, Cathy represented Canada as Head of Delegation at the G7 Youth Summit and contributed to work surrounding COP30.
