Alexander Walsh

An Advisor at COPTICOM, Alexander Walsh specializes in climate policy, coalition strategy, and advocacy communications. He leads the COMM Climat, a community of practice on climate communications that brings together nearly 1,000 members from organizations across Quebec.
He has advised coalitions and clients across a range of issues, from public transit and land use planning to carbon pricing, at the Quebec and Canadian levels, and has contributed to advocacy efforts on the international stage, including at the UN Climate Conferences (COP29 and COP30).
Alexander holds a Master’s in Environment and Sustainable Development from Université de Montréal and a B.A. from Grand Valley State University, in his home state, Michigan.
